A listed barn restoration project in Hampshire.
Restoring and upgrading
The goal withe this beautiful project was to update and modernise the space while keeping the integrity and history of the building. We installed oak bifold doors to keep the space feeling as open as possible, using oak to tie in the beams and original features. Working to ensure the gable end construction and green oak cladding tied in all the elements of the property as it’s a traditional wood choice, and ideal for oak framed buildings and barn conversions. We also built a bat box at the top of the gable to ensure the build complied with all environmental regulations.
